Back in May, Samsung announced that the new DeX Pad would be available to buy from May 13 for $99.99 in the United States. The pad allows you to connect a Galaxy handset and use it like you would a desktop PC and was originally announced alongside the Galaxy S9 and S9+ back in February.
And now, only a few months later, the Dex Pad can be bought for just $69.55 via Amazon Prime, that's a savings of $30.44 (30%).
The DeX Pad replaces the previous DeX Station in the lineup, and it still contains two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, and USB Type-C for charging. What's new is that DeX has multi-resolution support for monitors now, with support for 1600x900, 1920x1080, and 2560x1440 displays.
In addition to supporting the latest flagships, it also works with the Galaxy S8, S8+, S8 Active, and Note8. and requires Android 8.0 Oreo to work. It's unclear how long the price drop will remain in effect, so if you were thinking of getting one, now might be the time to act.
