Microsoft has released a sizeable list of driver and firmware updates for the Surface Laptop 3, along with a smaller list of updates for the three-year/old Surface Book 2. The support pages date the updates back to last week, but the lists of changes were only added today.
For the Surface Laptop 3, only the versions with AMD processors are getting updates for now. As you may recall, there are two screen sizes available for the Surface Laptop 3, and the 13.5-inch model is powered by Intel processors, while the 15-inch model uses AMD, though a business-oriented version of this model is also available with Intel Ice Lake CPUs.
The list of changes for the AMD-based Surface Laptop 3 is quite lengthy and the updates aim to improve a wide range of aspects of the experience:

As usual, the updates are available to users running Windows 10 version 1903 - or the May 2019 Update - or newer. For Surface Laptop 3 users, that shouldn't be hard since it launched with a newer version already installed. Microsoft used to specifically state that certain updates were rolling out gradually, though that hasn't been the case for a while. Still, the company does warn that Surface updates roll out in stages, so you may not see them right away.
