ASUS went through a number of different prototype designs for a portable gaming PC before it settled on the final shape for the ASUS ROG Ally that will launch sometime later this year.
The two new Ryzen Z1 chips have up to eight Zen 4 cores and up to 16 threads, along with up to 12 AMD RDNA 3 compute units. They will be used first in the upcoming ASUS ROG Ally portable gaming PC.
