Ericsson Cloud RAN has passed the GSMA NESAS audit, and the products in scope for this audit include Central Unit-Control Plane, Central Unit-User Plane, Distributed Unit, and RAN Service Discovery.

Microsoft and Nokia have formed an agreement to better integrate Nokia's cloud technology with Microsoft's Azure. The firms said they could expand the scope of the partnership in the future.
