Microsoft Edge has a built-in VPN to help you stay private online. Until recently, the service offered 1GB of free data. However, Microsoft has confirmed that the quota has been increased to 5GB.

After months of testing a built-in VPN for its browser, Microsoft appears to have finally set its mind on how much free data it should offer—more than before, but less than you may have expected.
It seems that Microsoft is about to launch a native VPN for Edge. Some users report seeing the built-in VPN in the stable version of the browser, which was previously available only to Insiders.
Microsoft could be all set to offer 15 times more free data via its new integrated VPN on Edge. Earlier, this feature, dubbed "Secure Network" had a 1GB limit, which has now been increased to 15GB.
A few months back, Microsoft announced "Secure Network" or integrated VPN for its Microsoft Edge browser. Now, the Secure Network settings are finally live in the Edge Canary channel.
