It seems like Microsoft is looking at ways to reduce energy consumption while gaming on an Xbox or Windows PC by reducing the graphical output through adjusting resolution, frame rates, and more.
Microsoft is working on improvements for the cold boot start time in Xbox Series X|S consoles. The boot up animation has been reduced by five seconds, resulting in a 25% faster cold boot overall.
Microsoft has outlined a series of steps it is implementing to make Xbox products 100% recyclable by 2030. This includes the use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resins in the manufacturing process.
