Microsoft has officially announced DirectSR, a new API designed to help game developers implement Super Resolution (SR) support for all kinds of hardware from Nvidia, AMD, and Intel.

Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum are now the first games to support AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution 31 upscaling graphics technology, and more games will get FSR 3 updates in the coming months.
