Sony just announced its PlayStation Classic, its retro console that will feature 20 games. Although we are still months away from the release, it will probably be a good idea to pre-order the unit, if you want to ensure that you'll be securing one during the holidays.
While most major electronics retailers should carry it, there are only two retailers that currently have it available for pre-order in the United States. You can secure your order through GameStop and Best Buy at the moment, with both retailers charging $99.99 for the unit. Best Buy might be a better option for some, as it does not charge a shipping fee. If you go through GameStop, you will be, at minimum, required to pay a $7 shipping fee, and it won't be guaranteed for day of release.
This is just a list of current retailers offering pre-orders. As more retailers start to make it available, we will keep this list updated. If you have found it online, be sure to leave a comment, as we will add it to the post.
Update: Walmart and Target have been added. Best Buy is showing now as "coming soon"
