Toshiba's new Portégé X20W is a 2-in-1 convertible that can last up to 16 hours

Over the years laptops have evolved to become something more than just a portable PC. Many companies have embraced the opportunity by expanding its products capabilities by adding foldable hinges, detachable screens, and more. Toshiba's Portégé line has been known to set the bar in the past with quality construction and excellent battery life and the newly announced Portégé X20W is no exception.

While Toshiba hasn't released too many details in regards to its latest Portégé, it will pack the latest 7th Generation Intel Core Processor, offer USB Type-C for data and charging, and its 12.5-inch 1080p display will offer support for Wacom Feel technology. For those that want more out of their laptop, the X20W will offer a "360-degree, dual-action hinge" that will allow it to transform into a variety of different configurations. Despite being a 2-in-1 convertible, the unit will measure in at 15.4mm and will weigh a mere 2.5 pounds thanks to its magnesium casing. Perhaps the most impressive aspect will be its claimed 16 hours of battery life.

Toshiba has not announced a formal price or configuration options for the X20W, but stated that a pre-configured model should be available soon from the physical and online Microsoft Store.
