Withings begins countdown towards its new future

Despite the cold shoulder towards most wearable devices, health and wellness products still seem to find ways of penetrating the market. While it unclear exactly what will happen tomorrow, Withings has started a countdown timer on its website, with a full reveal set to be unveiled tomorrow.

Although there are plenty of different fitness tracking products on the market, Withings has taken its time to build up its robust line, offering wearables, scales, blood pressure monitors, and more. But it isn't good enough to create products that can track our health, they also have to be appealing when it comes to design. Through each product iteration, it is clear that the company has taken the utmost care in evolving its designs every so slightly, but at the same time, packing more features, to provide an overall better experience.

We'll need to wait and see what will be revealed when the counter winds down, representing the first product showcased since the company's separation from Nokia. The company was purchased by Nokia two years ago and it has now gone full circle, back into the hands of Éric Carreel, who is the co-founder and prior chairman of Withings. Although tomorrow will be just another announcement for most, for Withings, this is a second coming, and one that will most likely kick-start a new era of products and services.
