The long-time running Yakuza series has been slowly coming over to new platforms in the past few years, finally jumping off the PlayStation exclusivity train. Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio today announced that Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be releasing on Xbox One, Windows 10, and Xbox Game Pass on July 30.
The title is a remake of Yakuza 2 from 2006, and has already seen releases on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. This is the first time the game is arriving to Microsoft platforms, though it was to be expected, considering Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami is already available and even the upcoming Yakuza: Like a Dragon - the seventh game in the series - is coming to the Xbox ecosystem.
There can only be one dragon.

Kiwami 2 continues Kazuma Kiryu adventures with the yakuza. Here's the game description straight from the developer:
Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, has been assassinated. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be hitting both PC and Xbox One variants of the Xbox Game Pass services on July 30. Also coming to the subscription service later this month is CARRION, at launch.
