RocketCake 7.3

RocketCake lets anyone build responsive sites without coding, offering breakpoints, galleries, media, and a pro edition for custom code.

RocketCake

RocketCake is a free web editor for creating responsive websites. For beginners and professional web developers. No programming needed. No need to learn any HTML or CSS. Just click, drag'n'drop or type. But of course, you are still free to mix in your own code, if you like. Edit the website as it appears on your device. Switch at any time to view and editor it as on any other tablet, PC or mobile. Rocket Cake has built in support for all important HTML elements: image galleries, slideshows, resizable containers, stylish buttons, gradients, HTML 5 video, audio, and more.

Clean Generated Code

  • The editor spits out clean HTML/CSS code. You also can use it as base for your more complicated websites or template for your server scripts.

Breakpoint Editor

  • Specify your own break points to adjust the website just as you like. The flexible break point editor makes it extremely easy.

Professional Edition

  • There is a professional edition with the option to insert custom CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP code, user-defined breakpoint code and premium support.

RocketCake 7.3 changelog:

Easier Table Adjustments

  • It's now possible to manually enter the width of a column for table cells in the property window. Previously, this only worked by dragging the size of the cell.

Clean up command

  • In the options dialog, there is now a button which can be clicked for cleaning up the preview folder in order to save space on your disk

Lots of improvements everywhere

  • For example when uploading large files - a progress indicator is now displayed for each individual file
  • RocketCake no longer asks for confirmation on closing documents when creating a new website if the changes have already been saved anyway
  • Larger icons when used on high resolution displays on macOS and Linux
  • Lots of smaller improvements everywhere

Tons of improvements to the Linux version

  • RocketCake now stores the last saved folder for your projects and defaults to them on Linux
  • Icons and tabs are now much more clearly readable in Dark Mode in both macOS and Linux
  • The DELETE key didn't work on some distributions, this is fixed now
  • Button for cleaning up preview data
